From first day we start trading turquoise till now, we promised that we have NEVER traded any piece of the fake turquoise because of our faithful true love in the natural beauty. We hate make-ups and cheating. Our mission is to continue providing high-class genuine turquoise jewelries and art and deliver the fascinating oriental culture to our dear customers around the world.

Back in 1990s

Our interests in collecting different variety of stones start from 1990s. Mr. Tai G. Wang, the owner of Turqsky.com, was a journalist working for a local newspaper at that time. Occasionally he met the first piece of ‘green stone’ in his aunt’s house. Attracted by the charming sky blue beauty, his favor and enthusiasm in collecting turquoise started. With special thinking and love in art, Mr. Wang started his collector career as a fun joy-making part-time job. Piece by piece, water-drops gathered together and become an ocean. Mr. Wang’s collection reaches quite an amount.

Our first store

We opened up our first store to trade antiques, stones, jewelries and turquoise in 2000. At that time, our collections included a big variety and wide range in antiques. We had quite an amount of pieces of ancient Chinese coins, potteries, paintings, jewelries, and several pieces of viewing stones. After the store is opened, Mr. Wang found himself no big difference between other collectors. He started thinking: why not concentrating on only one or two areas instead of having everything? At that time, Mr. Wang already had over 100 pieces of natural round stones collected from Han River, which is one of Yangtze River’s the major branches. These round stones with special round shapes and natural shining surface can only be found in Han River, which was believed by Mr. Wang to be a unique cultural and geographical heritage. And his second largest collection is turquoise arts which require a good handcrafting skill and the rarely found high-quality of turquoise to be the materials. Our first store lasted only 10 months because its lack of uniqueness, but more importantly, Mr. Wang focused his collection interests in turquoises and round Han-River viewing stones.  

Rapid growth during a decade

We had a rapid growth in both the quality and quantity in turquoise art and the round stones collections. In 9/19/2008, we had another 4000 square feet double story show room opened up at foot of the Wudang Mountain, renowned as Immortals' Mountain of Taoism and a famous scenic spot in China.

Mr. Wang has published first book in 2002, “The round stones”, about the relationship of Chinese culture and round stones collections. Another book was published in 2008 on turquoise collection in which he demonstrated all the masterpieces of art on turquoise. Mr. Wang and his team are extensively covered by local newspapers and magazines because of his significant contribution on unveiling the relationship between Chinese culture and the viewing stones collections, several winning awards and two major personal collection exhibitions. In addition, collaborated with local government, our show room at the foot of Wudang Mountain has hosted two viewing stone exhibitions in its first year operation attracting nation-wide attention and is becoming one of the bridges between high-end customers and local dealers.
